What are we doing?

This summer, the PUC India team will be traveling to the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. There, we will be working closely with the local people in the village of Nasampalli as well a non-profit organization to construct a project that will positively impact the local community. We are designing, raising funds, and helping build an Anganwadi Community Center and children’s toilet. Through the implementation of the Anganwadi Community Center and children’s toilet, we hope to improve our community’s access to healthcare, education, and overall well-being.

Our goals:
Our objective is to identify and solve a challenge faced by our partner community in India. We are currently seeking funds to support the construction of our project. The project costs approximately $10,000. This amount will go directly towards materials for the project, construction tools, technical advising, and cultural advising. Ultimately, these funds will go directly towards improving the lives of the people in this community! You can make a tax deductible through Horn Raiser, an official fundraising platform of the University of Texas at Austin.

Our message:
This project is something that we are extremely passionate about. We hope to use the skills we have developed in school to better the lives of others around the world. We will be posting periodic updates on our Horn Raiser page and on our email newsletter to inform you of our progress. We hope that you will donate to help turn this project into a reality! Every dollar will go a long way towards making a positive impact in our partner community.
